At the base of the Nelson's column, there are Four of such Lions.

Lions symbolising the courage & daring.

Square once again

We arrived at Trafalgar square through a tube.
We got down at teh charing cross station.

Cultural sqaure


The beauty of this Trafalgar square is that many cultural programmes are conducted here.

When we went here again we found girls performing on the tunes of hindi movie songs.It was classical dance based on Devdas numbers

Trafalgar Square

We are standing in the Trafalgar square in London.
We are facing the Nelson Column.
There are two water ponds in front of us.
If we walk straight from here, we shall be reaching the Big ben.

Nelson's column




This is Nelson's Column erected in the memory of Lord Nelson who was killed in action on 21st Oct 1805 during the War of Trafalgar.

A war between British on one end and the French & Spain Navies on the other hand.

Start for London

This was in the National Express train.The journey from Leeds to King cross ( London) took exactly 2 hours 30 minutes.

We started on 29th August 09 in the morning 0505AM and touched the King Cross station at 735 AM.
